Currey and Company Sirocco 22 in Two-Light Desk Lamp in Wood and Jute

Three materials share one body here: wood, plated antique brass metal, and jute rope wrapping. That mix is what separates the Sirocco from the uniform metal finishes most two-light fixtures settle for — the wood brings warmth, the jute brings texture, and the brass ties them together rather than dominating.

The structure is worth describing. A ring sits at the apex, and a central globe connects the forked arms that carry the two shades outward. Off-white linen diffuses the light softly from each arm, so the output spreads rather than points — closer to ambient light than to task lighting, despite the desk lamp designation.

It runs on 120V with an inline rocker switch on a 6-foot clear silver wire, which is generous cord reach for most desk-to-outlet distances. Two candelabra bulbs are required: E12 base, B torpedo shape, up to 40W each — a high enough ceiling for traditional or filament bulbs rather than LED only.
