The leaves are what this sconce is. Elongated and finished in off-white and gold, they curl outward from the wall plate rather than lying flat against it — which gives the fixture depth and lets it cast its own shadow on the wall behind. At 10 inches deep and 19 inches wide it projects into the room as a sculptural object rather than sitting as a light source.

The construction mixes metal, brass and composite. Composite is what allows the leaf forms to be shaped with that level of detail while keeping the whole fixture at 5 lb — light enough for any standard wall box. The antique brass finish on the plate anchors the paler leaves above it.

Two E12 candelabra sockets take B torpedo bulbs up to 60W each.
